If you had read any of Isaac Asimov's several biographies, you'd at least be aware of David. I'm just glad Isaac didn't live to see any of this.

I think the "18 hrs/day writing" is an urban legend. Asimov himself stated in one of his books that he wrote from 9 to 5 every day and there were many days when he was attending conventions, etc, and was away from home. Nonetheless he's one of the most prolific American authors

That was around the time I discovered Asimov, when a friend gifted me an ex-library set of hardcover Foundation Trilogy books. Those spurred me on to his other books and it wasn't long before he was my favorite author. Still trying to find some of his out-of-print books.
