labels do not stick well to many types of plastic; has something to do w "low molecular bonding energy". My plan is to use CNC machine w carbine V tip bit to inscribe brass (or aluminum ?) sheet into tags which I can then rivet to briefcases. yes, not much luck apparently glues in labels (and most glues) work not by mechanical interlocking, but by molecular adhesion. Scuffing creates more surface area, which doubles molecular adhesion...but if plastic has low molecular energy, 2 x 0 = .... 0.
