If I could get high-end appliances that were electronics-free, I’d bite hard. We actually looked when we replaced our ovens, but the only thing non-beepy were trash models.

BTW, the very expensive oven we eventually chose has already had to have the motherboard replaced TWICE in 9 years.

Granted, I bake and roast like mad so use my oven a hella lot. It probably would have been fine for the “normal modern” user.

actually, what I REALLY want is a 60+" commercial range (with a salamander and flat top griddle), in a purpose built kitchen with fire supression, so I can also have a floor standing deep fryer, and maybe an INSANE wok burner probably not in this lifetime :(
