/ There are a few hoarders out there selling new boards for the price of new ovens. Options: * board service * new board * desolder relay, test, if good, rewire blown traces point-to-point * new oven

/ My inclination: * Skip board service. Prob won't touch my board bc scorch and trace, but even if they did, sketchy. * MAYBE desolder relay, test, if it works replace blown traces with point-to-point * if that fails (or if I skip it) just buy an oven

/ Yep. Same thing happened to me in 2012 with the oven I bought new in 1996 or so. Bought 1 aftermarket board which lasted 9 months, then junked the oven.https://twitter.com/wraithburn/status/1003979781304717312 …

/ Prob makes sense. Kinda pisses me off bc I want to get a 60", dual oven Viking or Wolf or something in 2-3 years, so this is basically renting an oven for $250/yr :( https://twitter.com/B30wu1f2/status/1003980181458038784 …

/ Gahhhhh They basically don't make 40" wide ovens any more, so I'm going to buy a crappy black (not stainless) 30" wide and live with it for years until I can afford a 60" wide Wolf + kitchen remodel :-/
