From exporter to Importer of Russian oil in 100 days. More help for Russian coffers with NorthStream thumbs up

Ha, if you never tried to overthrow government of Venezuela you'd still be getting thees light oil from them, but you'd government & big oil is to greedy, tried to steal the oil instead of buying it, like good buisness partners, so now yoh end up having to buy oil from Russia.

I concur. The most underappreciated aspect of the fmr president’s foreign policy towards Russia was U.S. energy policy ran directly contrary to Putin’s interests. Trump even warned EU about Russian gas dependency. This admin. already has a more pro-Russia FP than the prior one.

Some people would call me an expert and it depends. KXL matters much more to Canada than US refiners. Nord Stream 2 approval/denial is moot for the US unless Germany can cheaply source US LNG, which requires expensive buildout of liquefaction plants.

Agreed NS2 is about not making Europe dependent on Russian gas

Sorry, I'm lazy and don't want to read the thread, but where is the American pipeline at issue and how did Biden cancel it? Then, where is the Russian pipeline and how did Biden approve it? Now, what are our national interests, and how do these answers relate to each other?
