    Really interesting that there's a specific link update in the era of Penguin 4 What happened to suddenly push an update? Though, this really stood out to me in the announcement: "more effective at identifying and nullifying link spam more broadly, across multiple languages."

    Looking at this again, & digesting it a bit- this is not for "us"- It's for the avg person. I think it's important to keep that context. Also, I think it can be really helpful for SMBs who Google KWs related to their biz to understand why they are not there at some basic level

    I don't know how I feel about this. I LOVE the transparency. I am afraid it will result in SEOs thinking too linearly about Search.

    Had a UX issue with a map app on a site this week - the developer fixed it next day - wasn’t expecting that - client very happy! (Also benefits anyone else using it so wins all round! Yay!)
