    In 1979, Trevor Reed’s father joined the Marines after Americans were taken hostage by Iran. At the time we were in a “Cold War” with Russia. Today, former Marine Trevor Reed is essentially being held hostage by Russia and little is happening. Amazing how America has changed.

    With in solitary, we’ll take any media, whether or not “elite.” If I may, if “the media,” TV especially, did a nightly day count and hammered this issue daily, they might be stunned how many hostages start coming home. It’s time for to step it up.

    Elite media should ask how difficult it is to get ONE hostage released as Williams has been a long-time advocate for Americans wrongly held abroad. This is Day 9 of America Held Hostage 2.0 and elite media are not covering those becoming hostages in real time.

    3/all the Russians at issue here have been allowed to correspond with family in a language of his choice, receive books and periodicals in a language of his choice, and none of them have been held non-comm for anything like 50 days. I know this b/c I spoke to their lawyers.
