Nothing says transparent like not disclosing a $400k loan

As a Veteran, I introduced the Veteran ID Card in 2018… because it supported our Veterans. Now, I am disappointed the Ohio legislature has passed a bill doing the exact opposite. I will always proudly defend their rights… and that’s my job.

While Democrats are delivering for the Miami Valley and the country, Kevin McCarthy & Mike Turner struggle to count votes and continue to throw tantrums.

[6:20 PM] We cannot overstate how dangerously cold it is going to be/feel tomorrow morning through the day. We are forecasting a minimum wind chill of -30F at Dayton, which has only occurred on 7 days in the past 25 years (would be first occurrence since 2014). Data courtesy IEM.
Graphic shows historical frequency of wind chills below minus 30 degrees at Dayton.

The issue, Scott, is that a "free ID" is not really free, It doesn't show up on your doorstep and hand itself to you. It costs people money and time to go the BMV office. If you lack a single required document -- like a birth certificate -- it costs money to get one.

The bill permits anyone 17 and over to receive a free photo ID card. What's the issue? twitter.com/nivenpolitics/…

Today, 119 years ago, two brothers from Dayton changed the world with their flight down in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. We owe so much to them and are thankful for their contribution to the advancement of mankind. We also thank North Carolina for their hot air, sand, and wind

Politicians of all stripes say a lot of stupid stuff. The brilliant solution the Founders came up with was the First Amendment, so you can say whatever you want in response. Criminalizing speech is for Communists, banana republics, and European socialists, not America. twitter.com/AustinJ_Report…
It’s a great relief there were no injuries at tonight’s Children's Parade. Grateful for the quick response of DPD and others to clear the scene and keep folks safe. But tonight's events underscore the ongoing need to get guns out of the hands of people who should not have them.

During the campaign, the GOP talked non-stop about the economy, inflation, and high gas prices. But since winning the House, it's all about investigations that have nothing to do with the cost of your Thanksgiving meal. ajc.com/politics/opini

Translation: Democrats took the majority on the State BoE and now the rigged GOP supermajority in the State House wants to strip it of its power.

So what was priority one for the GOP super-majority in the Ohio General Assembly in lame duck session? A Senate bill which would take nearly all power away from Ohio Board of Education and give it to the governor. After Tuesday's election, Dems hold a majority of seats.
