At some stage we’re going to settle on a name to memorialise this bushfire crisis. One I’ve seen a few times is “Black Summer”. It’s a bad name: these fires started in September, maybe earlier. Calling them summer fires plays into the lie that there’s nothing unusual about them.

We need to control the means of narrative production and call them what they are: the Climate Fires.

(and by “we” I ultimately mean the pollies and MSM, obv)

Am very for the idea of naming them for the most complicit politicians, or similarly climate corruption related, to prevent total denial in any future reporting.

The Bushfires. Just "The Bushfires". We all know which ones. The images are scorched into our minds forever. Worldwide, they think of those images when they hear the word. As THE Bushfires, they become almost personified. A merciless enemy to be fought.
