Sometimes mental illness and political violence are mutually exclusive. I agree, vulnerable people probably pick up sound bits and sentiments in society. That is why politicians' words can be dangerous. But we should not view the Hanau shooting as political violence.
Unless one has data pertaining to his psychological record, it is in my view unwise to take such an adamant stance. What is clear is that, he targeted Shisha bars which have been demonised explicitly by the Afd and others and is consistent with the rhetoric of the far-right

I believe you are right. This calls for action, though unfortunately I don’t know what would be effective. Your reasoning also applies to muslim terrorism, which reflects an emboldening islamist ideological base.
