Kentucky voters voted NO on an anti-choice ballot measure that would have amended the state constitution to permanently ban abortion! The advocates and volunteers who carried the message to voters in KY deserve all our thanks – this was a hard fight but you never gave up.

Here's a column that swiftly destroys the credibility of the Supreme Court, the right-wing outrage-industrial complex, and a football coach who sued to stay a football coach, but seems to prefer political celebrity

Btw, there were 180 strikes involving 78,000 workers in the first six months of 2022. At this time last year, there were 102 strikes involving 26,500 workers. There isn’t a “labor shortage." There is a wage shortage. Working people are tired of being exploited for their labor.

And there it is - bonuses to senior management based on short term financial targets such as share price is driving increasingly toxic behaviour that does not benefit real investment or workers’ pay.
Quote Tweet
Of course, there is. The management of companies screwing their companies to pay excess dividends do it to inflate the share prices of those companies. And their directors’ bonuses are almost always related to increases in that share price. In that case their exploitation pays.

The Idaho Supreme Court said late Friday that the state’s strict antiabortion laws can take effect while it reviews legal challenges against the restrictions. The near-total ban on abortions is scheduled to kick in Aug. 25.

After getting home from Western KY, we immediately got back on the road today to bring more supplies to families in Eastern KY recovering from the flood. Here in Whitesburg, and in many surrounding communities, the devastation is massive. Let’s keep doing all we can.

"[Rep. Massie] could not get me a load of gravel for my district, if I needed it," Sen. Paul Hornback (R-Shelbyville) said. "He has no influence... He's just completely out of touch with what normal people want…” #KY04

Iran-backed Islamic Jihad fired 450 rockets at Israel this weekend and Iron Dome intercepted almost all of them. I support democratic allies defending against terrorists before they expand their ambitions across the world. foxnews.com/world/israel-m #KY04

Israel receives $3.8 billion of foreign aid from hard working American taxpayers each year. That vote was to send them another (unbudgeted) $1 billion. A majority of my constituents don’t think Israel needs more of their money, so I voted for my constituents. twitter.com/MotiAnkari/sta…

Kentucky, you have every reason to be frustrated. We have been abandoned by politicians like Rand Paul, and division is tearing us apart. The system is not working. Now is our time to change that. Let’s win this Senate race, and stand united for our future.

What we need is more women in the room where decisions are made. Vote @Piatt4KY and yours truly.

Hey KY women, the House voted on a bill today to protect the right to contraception… 195 Republicans voted against it. Here are our reps who think YOU don’t have the right to take birth control. It’s 2022… time to grab ‘em by the ballot.

BREAKING: Chad Meredith won’t be a federal judge. We spoke up, and made everyone listen. But let’s be clear, the ONLY reason Rand Paul opposed McConnell’s anti-humanity, anti-abortion judge was so he could appoint his own. This is a petty power game. Both of them need to go.
