Scientists used to attack mindfulness/meditation/Buddhism and the like on the basis that it's not effective. Now the attack is increasingly focusing on harmful effects. By contrast homeopathy is and always have been attacked (and sometimes defended) because it does nothing.

Attacks most likely are not justified 1. Lindy 2. Really hard to measure the efficacy of something like that 3. Depends on the sample
