Apparently the 3 Billion was in response to tariffs on steel imports. More tariffs to come!

Trump rolls out 60 billion of import tariffs. China rolls out 3 billion. Trade deficit so large it's tricky for China to match. Makes me think they should start taxing exports in retaliation haha.

LOL. export subsidies is a thing though (don't know if China specifically does it). it can be sneaky like internal tax cuts for your export heavy industries so you might not even notice.
