I don't believe I've ever seen/heard someone say this, but it's true: If you want to be an entrepreneur and you are male, make sure your significant other is supportive of that. I know plenty of men with entrepreneurial urges who are restricted by their (usually myopic) women.
I would say as high as 50%. But when you're talking about people who actually started (like worked an hour on the weekend or something), it probably goes down to 10-20%

I think that condition is very generous :) E.g. I've left Google to work for a startup where i have a smallish ownership stake, plus I put maybe ~100 hours of weekend/night work into my next project so far, but i'd count myself with 0.5 in the sample.

But maybe my field is different than yours. I know of plenty software engineers with side projects which never reaches the economically viable stage.
