Online pornography is an oft cited reason for the decision of many young single men to not date or even to participate in the labor force. I saw the Larry Nassar ruling today and thought that VIRTUAL CGI child pornography should be legal for exactly this reason, to deter the act.
I guess the counterargument would be that the existence of pornography of a genre can cause people to engage in it, but I'm suspicious of this. Suppose you are attracted to children, what options do you have besides castration? To be clear, I think child porn is abhorrent.
