Also pretty sure westerners also value 1) money/jobs and 2) friends/family 
My tweet was not well written. Chinese value it relatively more. Westerns value things besides that relatively more. Would you disagree with that?

Idk? I find it hard to generalize across class/groups/occupations. But thanks for clarifying! (Didn’t mean to be knee jerk about it.)

没关系！ It's not PC to do, but there is no doubt that there significant differences ON AVERAGE between different groups. To give you a meta-example, Chinese people in China have zero problem generalizing, while in urban communities in the States it's taboo.
