Going to Costco is a chore. If amazon had Costco's prices, it wouldn't have those sss

Feel like most would disagree. Streamlined distribution and experiential nature of trip feels superior to traditional marketplaces. In your opinion is Kroger/ Walmart more or less chore-like?

Amazon < Costco < Kroger/Walmart in terms of chore-like-ness, but with Costco much closer to Kroger and Walmart than it is to Amazon.

Ya I recognize you were comparing vs amazon too but just think Costco experience is far better than rest. The private label alcohol price/ selection is pretty sticky too.

Costco is about price. That's it. Worse selection and convenience than Amazon. I don't know about alcohol as I've never bought it online, but I suspect it's an exception and not representative at all of the offering in general.

Costco about samples. And coming home with random shit like a 6 foot teddy bear that pisses off your wife but makes you king to your kids. Can't replicate that one AMZN

The samples aren't good. That 6 foot teddy bear sells on Amazon too. It's just 2.5x the price. My company actually sells one and since we have zero reviews and we are at rock bottom pricing I highly recommend you purchase it! https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=me%3DA2F9QUWMX16RV7&field-keywords=bear+jumbo+the+teddy+giant+moochie+brumsfeld …

You are overlooking a few things. Amazon’s not a place for product discovery. Price is not why amazon is losing out on big teddy profits. Amazon is just not built for driving impulse buys. Sorry you don’t like the samples though - helps explain your bearishness

I'll just respond sentence by sentence. Maybe. Wrong. You have that data? Nope. Wrong. I'm not bearish and this is a dumb comment.

Waiting for you to share data on how amazon excels at discovery/ driving impulse shop, how Costco’s teddy bear pricing impedes amazon’s ability to compete in this category and of course data on how the samples aren’t good...

1. Amazon is attached to the internet. Blogs curate it. 2. https://www.amazon.com/gp/browse.html?ref%5F=w%5Fbl%5Fhsx%5Fs%5Fki%5Fweb%5F2602945011&node=2602945011&field-lbr%5Fbrands%5Fbrowse-bin=The%20Unemployed%20Philosophers%20Guild&pldnSite=1 … 3. Lightning deals Re: bears, it impedes it but does not stop it out right. Re: samples, all processed crap full of sugar. qED
