Step 1: middle row is 123 or 321 Step 2: only two ways to make 17, 2+7+8 or 2+9+6. Step 3: You notice impossible to put 6 in bottom row Step 4: Therefore 9 must be bottom row. Step 5: Bottom row, 9/8/3 or 9/7/4 bottom row. 3 is middle row so must be 9/7/4 => 5 6 8 1 2 3 7 9 4
