What do you think about the idea of purposefully seeking out obscure books?
sg? Perhaps in physics, but not in invention or engineering field. Old stuff can work wonders there. Discovery of oil for example.

something. It's probabilistic, in engineering there is a higher chance X could not have been discovered in principle before
