      Haven't read that, but there are certainly anecdotal counterexamples. I think jews in particular are historically very mobile.

      I thought that was how he tracked people, not how he measured their status, i.e. "still a lot of Lawyer/Doctor Lundsens"

          I'm not sure what you're asking. Status is presupposed from degrees (lawyers, doctors, masters') and postal codes with higher mean incomes.
