True, contrast gives perspective. Also, many other countries are (or try to be) decidedly single ethnic. Then racism doesn't show (mostly).

If we're going to discuss racism, we better define it. Single ethnic countries probably on average more racist but with fewer racist acts.

So, using my definition. I'd prefer to reduce racist acts, as it's difficult to reduce beliefs, which are most harmful when manifest as acts
