Is an ad on amazon one that says "Promoted"? If so I avoid every chance I get because I believe they are often filled with fake reviews but then again many products are, but I also use heavy filtering and I feel like they dont obey my filters so I have to ignore them

Sellers who pay for advertising are definitely more likely to pay for fake reviews, but we pay for it and we don't do fake reviews so it's not perfectly correlated.
