I have two companies. Both were disrupted by Covid. One benefited, one did not. We did no layoffs and we didn't take PPP (or any other CARES Act bailout money) for either, because we didn't need it. Everyone said I was crazy for doing that, but karma's a bitch.

I am honestly torn here. Some people do deserve to be lit up, but this can have chilling effects for people that may need the help, but afraid to ask for it.
