The government subsidy is the problem, imo. Foreigners overpay but it’s the subsidy that is fucking up the system by creating too much price insensitive demand.

That too, but we’re past the peak in re: baby boomer offspring applicants, so you would think the loan pumping would be somewhat negated by the fall in (domestic) demand. I wonder if the huge tuition ramp is also seen at secondary non-flagship state schools?
