Mondays are typically low given weekend reporting lags & today's count may be influenced by the holiday, but this is the lowest Monday total since Mar 23, and well below last week's 330.       Ok then. So pretty much as predicted. I have consistently correctly called this virus but have always done so too early. I tend to overestimate the speed but not the magnitude.

      From what I know, the deaths we see in Georgia are from infections in early mid may, mostly. Deaths fell relative to infections because fewer old people are getting it. Deaths will arise in time. Should coincide 3 weeks or so from this spike. We’re not better at treating thevirus

      And the virus, afaict is not weaker. What has changed is human behavior. We’re probably seeing lower viral loads per infection as a result of better distancing and masks.
