Funny thing is if you ask yourself whether Harvard would want to double class size, and if Lambda School would want to double class size, you dont even need to talk to the institutions to know what the respective answers would be

Maybe a tough question for you to answer, but what about YC? I get the impression that quality has not scaled with YC class size, but you'd know better.

When I was there, YC was limited by number of partners. I disagree with the assertion that quality has dropped as class sizes increased - what evidence do you have? Not qualified to answer for currently but I suspect that partner band with is still the limiting factor.

On a per admission basis, it seems like recent batch quality has gone down a lot. If you looked at earlier batches, there were few applicants and a high hit rate. Startup success is time-lagged so it's hard to say. I don't have good evidence, frankly. The best founders are ...
