American coronavirus media coverage makes my head spin. First it is just like the flu, then dangerous & everybody should sue China, and then, after more colorful people start rioting, it's harmless again - and now it is somehow both. Nothing to worry about AND dangerous. How?
The media is not about the truth. It's about attention. And our politcians brain types are not built for this stuff.
Maybe I have mentioned this before, but a friend who was member of the Green Party in Germany & aspired to be a professional politician once told me that prominent politicians were *much* smarter in reality than the public thinks & just extremely good at appearing simple-minded.
Yeah well...don't kill 100k people then.
