In nuclear we didn't fix all risks but we didn't for other energy sources as well
Not an apples to apples comparison. Obviously the downsides to nuclear are much greater.

Unclear that's the case, depending on sources coal energy generation is killing hundreds of thousands of people every year (like several Chernobyl every single year, for the last decades)
