      Despite the huge amounts of money due to 'defensive medicine', the defects are of course due to profit-seeking.

      I could write an not-so-nice article about the horrible incompetencies which led to the death of my wife in May. (She was in what is considered one of the premier hospital systems in the world.) Our healthcare establishment is entirely incompetent.
