I will be interested to see how MtG Arena mobile does later this year. Hearthstone (if my memory is correct) really took off when they released mobile. Hasbro has been on a multi-year journey to try and leverage their IP assets (hence eOne). We’ll see if they can do anything...
Your memory is correct. I played MTG Arena in like 2003 2004. Big botch by Wizards/Hasbro to not launch that mobile.
