You should have hit me up a few years ago and prior to prison. Your idea, though, is genius because back then if I owed $950K I would have been LESS aggressive with deductions to hit 1MIL in taxes if it "earned" me some recognition. I don't think I'm alone (well, maybe I am ...)

Well I lost both so I didn't have to decide which was more important LOL Now neither is in the slightest which may be an awakening on my part or a kind of defense mechanism I've adopted to cope. Ouch, too heavy. I still like your idea and would love to see it tested somewhere.
