I really hate paying taxes, so I thought of a way to make it more fun. The federal government should create a status system of video-game style badges according to your taxes paid. Your tax payment level would go on your drivers license and would give you rewards. For example:
$0 taxes paid. You get a 
face and a letter saying you’re a leach
$100 paid. You get a bumper sticker saying “taxpayer”
$1000 paid. You get to cut the line at national parks.
$10000 paid. You get to cut the TSA line at airports.
$100000 paid. You get a cool leather passport
$1000000 paid. You get your name on a missile. $10000000 paid. You get your name on a predator drone. $100000000 paid. You get to meet the president and your face goes on a quarter. This seems stupid at first but I think it would really encourage people to pay more tax!

In Taiwan, all receipts are also lottery tickets. That’s why people tend to refuse informal purchases. Maybe enrolling all timely tax returns in a lottery scheme might be a useful approach?
