I was just reading that this same overestimation happens for the LGBT community. People think 20-25% when it’s more like 3-5%. Makes me wonder how oppressed these groups are when they have such a large space in majority psyche.

That there is so much sound and fury over transgenderism, when they are just a fraction of a percent of the population is telling. On Twitter sometimes it feels like every other person is some kind of alphabet soup, but it's just exhibit #89662 of Twitter not being real.
