They don't seem to be much of an operation. I wouldn't be surprised if it made more sense to make pallets locally. The wood ships flat and then you build on location. We have places like this in TX and we don't have y'alls wood.pic.twitter.com/RtiV9mN0q9

It's probably a hat toss. Pallets are usually made from the lowest grade saw logs that aren't used for anything else - if not for pallets they'd be sold for pulp or chipped.
