Didn’t read the article but if he thinks by moving to Texas he can avoid conformity, he’s wrong.

Conform to what exactly in Texas? Houston literally most culturally diverse city in the US, and Houston, Dallas, Ft Worth, Austin, and San Antonio (just to keep it to the major cities) are all completely different from each other.

Okay you got a retweet, I'll respond. TO WHATEVER MAN. There are conservative views in Texas. There are liberal views in Texas. Of course Texas is diverse. I live here and my head is not up my own ass.

So then your original tweet was nonsense? What exactly is the “conformity” to?

Conform to whatever group he feels he needs to. It depends on where you are. In rural texas, if you're not religious its weird. If you're in Austin, if you are its weird. Use your brain man.

That may be your experience, and clearly it’s what you want it to be. That’s a shame though, as it couldn’t be farther from the truth for most of Texas. Diverse thoughts/cultures/beliefs generally tend to get along together better here than just about anywhere.

You're an idiot.

That’s a thoughtful response.

your argument is literally "There is no conformity in Texas" so what do you want me to say?

I didn’t say that. I’m saying Texas is one of the best states for not requiring conforming to one particular thing or another to get along or be successful.
