Nassim makes a huge implicit point in Incerto: “suckers” are too neurotic to trust their own intuition. They want things broken down into a list of “proofs” so when things go wrong, they don’t have to blame themselves. Modern rationality is not far from cowardice. @nntaleb

Does he? I don’t think he’d recommend trusting your own intuition until you had the life and business (or war etc) experience sufficient to make a good intuitive judgment. See: “When thé beard is black...grey...white...” quote/wisdom
