Good point. A single person might be 3% of the value I get from Twitter, I’m not going to download some other app 100% for them.
It is very difficult to get your audience to join you on new formats and platforms. Your Twitter following will translate to ~1% podcast listens or livestream views or email subscriptions. People are on twitter because like the format. Transitioning platforms is inconvenient.

Yes - I have noticed also that every platform’s algo deprioritizes any content that helps people get off the platform. Links to podcasts are in that category.

Can we circumvent this by linking to a site with further links to the podcast content? Or is that something the algorithm would also know? Serious question!
