Wait - is that not true? I'm pretty sure that asians have higher levels of lactose intolerance than use cheese and milk machine white folks, no?

It's a self enforcing myth. I thought I was lactose intolerance when I arrived at US. And it appeared so for the first semester or so. Then it just started going away when I drank more milk and ate more cheese. It happened to many I know.

Latte and milk yea are the most popular drinks in today's China. Can't imagine it happens with a population that's 70%-100% lactose intolerant.

Also see Japan. They love diary products. To the point where butter shortages are occasional going concerns lol
