Government is now talking about another tax payment extension and bailout. Capitalism (like evolution) stops working when government creates a safety net such that reckless and wasteful companies cannot die. More bailouts are more incentive to be reckless and wasteful.

It seems prudent to have some cash savings right now and generally, but... It just feels with every new bailout, I'm watching it get inflated away. Right or wrong, it just feels like a game I don't want to play anymore. /end

Giving businesses money when they're not forced to shut down is dumb. For companies I follow, the magnitude of the bailout is maybe a month of losses (besides airlines). If the next round is that big, they're getting propped up for about 2 months.

Everyone I know took money from the gov't and everyone I know (except people selling like travel luggage or whatever) is killing it because e-commerce is booming. It's fucking stupid.

A bit more detail: The really bad companies I follow are going bankrupt. The just bad ones are diluting shareholders hard. And even pretty good ones are diluting, when management chooses to be defensive.
