For the first time in my life I have seen living armadillos. They are stuck in this hole and apparently carry leprosy (seriously) so I am not sure how to get them out.pic.twitter.com/CnpeshwKMA

You may have found this out yesterday BUT armadillos can jump straight up about four feet in the air. It's disturbing to witness.
Not these guys. I actually fished them out with a cardboard shovel I made and they could jump max 6-10 inches.

Wow, I just looked at the picture. Those are little dudes! I trapped one in the flower bed with a laundry hamper (I panicked!) and then didn't know what to do with it. Catch and release.
