It’s so bizarre. I get the argument that these tests can be / are biased. But let’s fix the tests instead of getting rid of a quantitative measure of ability in admissions.

People complaining about bias in these tests are not people who would score very well on these tests. I'll leave it at that.

They've been thumbing their nose at Asian Americans since the late 90s when they realized that their student body was going to be majority Asian if they didn't do something to stop that.

so it's going to be either who donates the most money or completely arbitrary based on what the admission committee thinks is best? idk maybe this will just accelerate the already existing decline/collapse of the higher education system and we can start over sooner
