Is anyone aware of a non-western software company (for example, Xero and Atlassian which are NZ and Australian firms don't count) that is killing it in the United States?

will get good and fast. It’s just how they are. Cappuccinos, manufacturing, software - China is just awesome at copying and scaling at lower costs.
