For the record: I think college is poorly implemented and needs to be worked on. But it’s the best we have.

2nd, people really discount the things you gain in the college experience that you don’t realize you even gained. Things are simple as sounding educated and more complex like learning how to learn. Big ups in the world.

Dartmouth. 2.8 GPA. Never went to class. Graduated with a double major in math and economics, but like I said, I completely squandered the opportunity. Spent the whole time playing video games, chess, drinking, and trying to get laid. I understand I am a unique case.

That was about my experience in uni, except accounting and econ. I constantly withdrew from classes where I'd ask the teacher why, and they kept telling me to take it as given. Then I learned that the whole field of psych is a big fraud.

There is a case to be made for taking a gap year or two before uni. Your experiences do align with that, it seems.

Yeah I should've done that. I didn't want to be there and I had a really tough time in year one. Really tough. Almost dropped out.

I solved that problem
@orrdavid by not attending class. I did enjoy my math classes though. I wish I had taken some comp sci or you know....had any direction in my life (didn't get any from parents - not their fault though, they were in tough circumstances).2 replies 0 retweets 1 like -
You did not miss much by not taking Dartmouth CS classes. A couple were good, but most were awful. Hence I only have a minor, and a major in History

Didn’t take a single one so I don’t know. Though for a little while I was doing @HiltonHart homework so maybe I got a little exposure haha
