Is anyone aware of a non-western software company (for example, Xero and Atlassian which are NZ and Australian firms don't count) that is killing it in the United States?

Asia has eaten American manufacturing. I suspect that foreign countries are going to eat our software industry too.

I really doubt it, unless they get a whole lot better, quickly, or we stop high-grading off their best.

They’ll get better. It’s easier to copy than to innovate and that’s all many will need to do.

I just don’t see it. In fact, half of my portfolio is invested in a JPMorgan US Tech Leaders fund. The whole world (except China) uses US tech. Arrive in city, open Uber/Lyft app. Find a good restaurant with Yelp app. Book things to do with TripAdvisor. Etc etc
