I had similar concerns. I would expect the Milanese December sample to show higher concentrations than the Turinese one. Whether this is the case could be a clue on whether it's a false positive.

Did you tweet about it ages ago? I seem to remember that you did. Didn’t read the study but this does not make sense to me. It would be like finding a needle in Kansas, never mind a haystack.
