yeah i get it's the money but the fact it's hard to find labor at normal wages means only businesses willing to pay more will get people to come work in warehouses which, given how we want social distancing etc., is not a bad short term outcome?
For meat plants, elevator operators, nurses, etc. I agree with you, but not really for warehouses. With proper management it's really hard to catch the coronavirus in a warehouse. You just keep your distance, wear a mask, and you're fine.
