Friend's wife (27 yo) got coronavirus a couple of months ago (confirmed case). She has permanently lost her ability to smell sulfuric odors. So, while it's amusing that she can no longer smell her husband's farts, it's pretty scary what the corona can do to your brain.

Amazing how you have mastered time travel to know this loss is permanent. Usually the end of an event in this case a life needs to have occurred before such a determination could be seen. As long as nerves regenerate the sense may revive. Try Hericium erinaceus extract.

Fair. "Permanent" was the wrong word to use. Up until now it has not recovered and its been almost 3 months.
