Afaict, what’s happening in the USA is the first time the world has ever seen mostly unabated coronavirus transmission meeting a decision to not lockdown. History is being made here.
I heard remdemsivir didn’t work and afaik no one uses convalescent plasma in USA.

Remdesivir does work as per the double blind clinical trial, but it doesn't save lives, it reduces time to recovery by 33% though, reducing hospital care capacity need per patient

Well I should say , it isn't proven that it reduces death, because they ended the trial when they saw it was effective at clearing up infections 33% faster, but the life saving aspect is not proven, just that it reduces time in hospitals for critical/severe patients.
