For most of my life I thought of the Irish as a bunch of incompetent drunks. Later I learned that I'm of Irish ancestry and I keep meeting more and more successful Irish entrepreneurs (Collison brothers for example). Are we Irish officially market dominant minorities?

The Irish basically saved Western Civilization in Europe. Many of the oldest monasteries & towns were kickstarted by plucky Irish adventurer monks who just didn't care about silly things like "danger" & annoyed even the most horrible Germanic tribes into conversion.

Also the first Irish phrase I learned from my friends was Irish Twins. I actually used it on some of my Chinese friends who happened to have such children.
