Serious question: Where will it end? Gone with the Wind was taken off of streaming services just recently. It seems like what is ans is not acceptable is a moving target so how will we know when we have cleared all the problematic artifacts of our past and present?https://twitter.com/wizards_magic/status/1270825048241135616 …
It's clearly the same thing. The same way MTG was fine with printing allegedly racist cards for multiple decades, Dartmouth was fine with AD branding the occasional consenting pledge. Dartmouth didn't know that was happening? Give me a break. Self-reflection.

If you want to call out MTG for printing racist cards for years, I'm cool with that. If you want to say their timing is opportunistic, I'm cool with that. That's different than "the mob" censoring them.

Fwiw, check this out. It fleshes out my thoughts, though apparently not well enough because I've accused of being a bigot, homophobe, and racist as a result of writing it:https://twitter.com/Molson_Hart/status/1270547580993273857 …
